When an outsourcing engagement is actually finished

Companies often close an outsourcing deal on a handsome demo. The risk shows up the week after: who edits the content, who holds the server, and where a new order goes.
MAPP treats an engagement as finished only when four things exist together:
- A written scope: which screens ship, and which were deliberately left out.
- Source code in the client’s repository.
- The domain, certificate, and pipeline not tied to an individual’s laptop.
- Someone on the client side who can run the main path without calling the studio to click for them.
A two-week rhythm
Each slice is something you can open in a browser. Progress is not a list of commits. You can follow an order, a page, or a permission in admin.
This is slower than hiring by the hour, and it produces fewer surprises on launch day.
